For this assignment in Geometry, we had to create a logo to go with our name. Our logo had to include certain requirements, such as angles, line segments, etc. The Logo Graphic design assignment represents the 21st century skill thinking and problem solving. We had to apply what we had been learning in Geometry, and fully understand it, in order to complete this assignment.
I improved my thinking and problem solving skills with this assignment since I had to go back and make sure I could understand the material well enough to create a project out of it. I completed it and I'm happy with the fact that I got an A on the assignment, and I completed it on time.
The most difficult thing about completing this was that there were still some things I hadn't fully understood, like what angles where which. I asked for help and figured it out in the end though. If I were to do the assignment over again, I would try to make it look a little nicer, spending a little more effort on the looks rather than just completing the assignment. It looked fine, though if I could redo it that's the first thing I'd do.
I remember learning about angles, rays, and things like that in the past, so some of it was a review from when I was in elementary school. It's a good thing, since it's difficult to remember that long ago. I also know that we will be using these terminologies again, and this assignment included some of the basic blocks of geometry, so I will need to know and understand it. In fact, we are still using them in quarter two.
